First I have to admit to neglecting my spitfire for about a month.
I'm sure she's mad at me.
The problem I'm having, is I can't get the car to start. I parked
it, then about a week later went to start her up. I found the
battery was dead (Not a surprise, my charging system doesn't
work, and I had been driving at night). I charged the battery
and put it back in. Now the car would crank, but wouldn't start.
My cap and rotor looked pretty balck, so I replaced then. At
the same time I decided to replace my points and condensor.
I also replaced my plug wires (some didn't fit well) and plugs
(They looked a little black). I regapped my new points and plugs.
However I still can't get the car to start. I am getting spark,
and I do have gas. I pulled the gas line off the carb, to make
sure I was getting fuel to the carb, I am. Any suggestions?
