Has anyone out there found a "chemical" way of removing the factory finish
from the wood dashboards. I am afraid to sand very much in case the finish
layer of venier is super thin. My dash is cracked and peeling on all three
cars ('71 GT-6/Mk3 ; '78 1500 and '70 Mk3). Tried normal as well as
"antique" paint remover without it touching the finish. Thanks to anyone
out there with an idea.
Cheers Robb Tones
