I can't speak for anyone else, but I think fiberglass is the only way to go
on a Spit6. I had the chance to open the bonnet on a Spitfire with a
fiberglass bonnet at an autocross, and I would guess the weight savings to
be somewhere between 25-50 lbs. at least.

TRF lists several, I think they range from $400 - $600.

TRF could probably tell you what the difference is. I'm fairly certain that
as far as balancing the car weightwise on a Spit6 the fiberglass bonnet is
probably one of the biggest improvements you can make, although I can't
speak from experience since I haven't done this myself yet.
