Well, I took my hand at soldering today, and now my fuse for the electric
fan is now securely in there. It works every time without sparks flying
over the place.

Now i've came upon a new problem(but I'm making progress). Apart from
replacing a fuse and fixing a few contacts on the rear lamps(those
license plate light plastic holders are just too darn fragile). No matter
what I do, I cant make the brake lights illuminate. I turn on the
headlights and the tail lamps work fine, but they dont change no matter
how much I manipulate the brake pedal switch.

What should I be checking with the voltimeter(its 30 miles away right
now) and/or what contacts should I be checking? I cant think of what
would be wrong. Currently all the other lights work beaitfully. the only
exception is the hazard switch. It doesnt illuminate the right hand
signal unless I have the right turn signal on at the same time.

anyone? It's a '79, but all of you knew tha\t alrady. :) my friend's '76
Spit has seen better days, as the wrist pins on the engine scratchted the
sleeves, so its outta commission for now.
