I rode in a fellow lister's Spit-6 on Saturday, and let me tell you,
it was SCARY!
Not that it was overly front-heavy, but he did say he was going to
have to put heavier GT-6 suspension bits up front to handle the extra
weight.
The engine is a stock GT-6+, I believe, and has dual Stromberg carbs.
He's running it through a Monza quad exhaust system - it sounds sweet!
The thing that I can't get over is how FAST that thing is - just out
of the box! And, he hasn't tuned it yet or anything.
I liked it so much I'd consider it for my Spit if I had the engine...
He's running it through the Spit gearbox and rearend, which, I think,
are the same anyway...
How 'bout it, Isaac? Did I miss anything?

'71 Spit MKIV - 4 cyl oil leaker
extra 1296 engine - anyone wanna swap for a GT-6 engine? :-)
