FWIW, I have also received Herald parts from Rimmer Bros. packed in potato sacks. Don't recall whether they had "Homegrown /Pentland Squire/Potatoes/Pentland Squire Potatoes are good all round potatoes with a soft floury texture" markings , but they were, without a doubt, double-layer paper potato sacks.
