If you are draining coolant when you lift the intake, you are dong WAY too many
unnecessary steps!!

Take the plastic caps off of the wires at the coil end. They'll fit through
that way without pulling the intake. #6 is still a little tricky, but less time
than draining the coolant, pulling hoses, etc.
