Get a reverse osmosis system. Have had one in my last 3 houses and it makes
the water 'taste' (actually removes taste) good. In addition, since I'm on a
well and septic, it gets rid of all the creepy crawleys that might cause
harm.

It all depends on where you're at too. In Toledo, the water tasted fine.
Or rather, it didn't have a taste. And that was fine. Here in PA though,
the local water has a "taste". And I put a filter on the incoming line and
it still isn't right. We buy bottled water now.
