Anybody have any tips for replacing the IAB without actually taking the
intake all the way off? Specifically the lower screw. I pulled the codes
on what I thought was going to turn out to be a crank sensor problem, and
got a 551, IAC issue. Whew! So I bought a new one yesterday, but forgot
what a PITA they are to replace. The last time I had my intake off, when I
replaced plugs and plug well seals, I slotted the lower ear on the IAB so I
didn't have to take the screw all the way out. But I can't get in there to
even loosen it up. My combination of extensions was just a little bit too
long. I had the intake loose and propped up a little, but I was running out
of daylight and so I just put it back together.
Anybody have a good way of getting at it?
