Are you sure it's not the switch? When mine quit working in my 95, I started
out looking for fuses and such as well. Ended up being the cheesy plastic
switch. The outer lugs, being plastic and not overly large, break. The
switch still feels like it's fine, but with one (or both) lug broke, it
doesn't actuate the switch enough to make the internal contacts connect.

It's easy enough to check and it might save you time trying to trace a
problem that doesn't exist?
