I did but mainly to make sure it wasn't the grinder (which worked fine when=
 plugged into an extension cord.

And, to be clear, I wasn't asking about replacing the breaker with a GFI (b=
ut I will), I was wondering about replacing the outlet with GFI.

Probably an obvious question, but did you unplug the grinder to make sure i=
t's not just continuing to trip the breaker?
