I agree with the idea of migrating to a modern operating system. I have an
old laptop for the garage and when it's OS's time is up I will likely put
either Ubuntu or Chrome OS on it. This one too is basically just an
internet lookup machine, so even if modern Ubuntu runs slow on the old
hardware I'll be okay.
