Thanks, guys. I think there will be room to get a duct in, but it is =
going to be a pain in the butt and an extra couple of inches probably =
wouldn=E2=80=99t help that much. I hadn=E2=80=99t thought about a vent =
in the door - it is solid - but it is something to think about. My wife =
just told me she is happy to leave the door open when we are washing =
clothes, which surprised me. We=E2=80=99ll see how she feels when =
we=E2=80=99re actually doing that, but I could always put an HVAC vent =
in the door.
At the moment, I am thinking the best course is to put the washer/dryer =
in with sound absorbing pads for the dryer. Building a shelf to isolate =
the two in an interesting idea that I hadn=E2=80=99t though of. I=E2=80=99=
ll probably just use the kit provided by the manufacturer - the unit is =
currently set up in my garage (more shop content!) and at least in =
there, it doesn=E2=80=99t seem to be a problem. Adding a shelf if =
needed is something I will definitely keep in the back of my mind, once =
we see how everything works in reality.
Thanks again!
