If you're still thinking about LED lighting, I ran across this site,
and they look like the place from which I will get my under-cabinet
lighting.

Cree does make some good LED lighting, but they're not cheap. There
are a lot of ways to blow the budget!
NFI, just in the midst of my own kitchen renovation...
