[Shop-talk] How do you clean a Chamois?"

I finally found mine earlier this summer after it being lost for many years 
(don't ask how something gets lost for that long!). It is very dirty and also 
has a couple areas that are kinda greasy. 

Can I put this thing in the washer? Or is there a good way to clean these 
things?
