That would ... it's actually radiation from the sun that creates the ozone
in the first place. Ozone quickly decomposes on it's own, so it takes
continuous radiation to keep a layer present. And the poles (where the
"holes" are) don't get much radiation in the winter.
But there is little point in belaboring the issue, since "everyone knows" I
am wrong. And since we've already hopelessly poisoned the planet with CO2,
it doesn't matter anyway.
