That was my plan, just leave it in the truck bed to fill, then remove it when
I got home. As far as blowing up, if I bought a metal caddy didn't roll it
around in side the truck bed that would eliminate the chance of static
buildup/discharge. I know the plastic gas cans will create a static buildup
if you slide it around the inside of the bed.
I am curious as to whether the caddy comes with any written warning on how to
transport and fill it.
