Indeed, a friend of mine has been studying how Toyota manages to avoid the
"us vs them" mentality that seems to permeate the US car makers and their
unions.
That's not to say all of their workers love them; and possibly even some of
them have died on the job. But overall their employees seem a lot happier
than those of the "big 3".
