Phil,
The Bradford-White units have them build into the cold (or is it the hot)
water outlet.
All - Change those anode rods every five years or so and the water heater
will last a long time.

Hmm. There certainly was one on my last gas water heater, but I don't see
where it is on the Bradford White I have now.
