By permeable pavers do you mean those waffle like things with grass
growing through them? Most of the ones I see are just dead grass
holders. Plan to park there every day? Grass doesn't really like
the under-car environment. Besides that, I really don't know what
the problem is. I just haven't seen very many that end up looking at
all attractive. I did use regular pavers for a section of driveway
at my house to break up the look of so much pavement. I guess one
would have to see the actual area to decide what would be most
appropriate. What might work in suburbia might look stupid on a
farmhouse. And vice-versa, of course.
