I T-eed mine after the tank manifold and put a one-way valve between the
tee and a male fitting. (The black and rusty thing.) I don't get any
out-rushing air should I forget to close the tank valve before I
disconnect the hose. And it keeps everything more compact than trying to
fit a ball valve in the chain.
