Tried that before the ether. Its worked on lighter weight tires for me in
the past, but these 10 ply trailer tires wouldn't compress the center of
the tire... The tread area itself just buckled.
I didn't try two straps though. Thought of it, but then wanted to try the
ether trick. :-)
