You might try poking around on the Grainger web site. They seem to have a
lot of small HVAC replacement motors listed, including some by A.O. Smith.

My guess is that it's going to be difficult to find an exact replacement for
what sounds like a purpose-made motor. You'll probably need to do some
creative adaptation. A higher rated motor might be a good idea anyway.
Another thought might be to contact the manufacturer of your heater.
