Fred,
I definitely filled it FULL when I filled the reservoir. It uses a push
pull cylinder so it uses close to the same amount of oil either
direction. Only real difference would be the volume taken up by the
shaft.
Its only when I lower it down fast that it pukes some up. Going slow it
works ok. I'll just let it seek its own level and be done with it.
