Many people are under the mistaken impression that brake fluid is just another kind of oil, when in fact it is glycol based and is more like antifreeze than oil. Because the volume of waste brake fluid I create is much lower than the oil and antifreeze, I just keep a gallon container labeled "waste brake fluid" and holding that until the next waste cleanup day is not as big of an inconvenience. |
