> US cars typically burn out the headlight switch instead. My 1980 Regal had a thermal cutout. When the 2, 100 Watt high and 2, 55/100 Watt Hi/lows bulbs were used long enough they blinked off for a split second of terror, then came right back on, but this happened very infrequently. Jack |
