I'd think almost any mounting method could handle 300 lbs... Probably a couple big U bolts would be what I'd choose, just so that I wasn't putting holes in the joist. And its easy to test too. Just have you and the wife dangle from it. And if you and the wife are in better shape than me & my wife, one of you hold the dog too. :-) Mark |
