shop-talk supported in part by Fat Chance Garage http://fatchancegarage.com I don't get it - why did all you guys use use 3/4" plywood and one guy even skinned that with steel. They won't fly that's for sure. I used 5/16 ply with 1x2's and silicone inside all corners and slotted angle legs [because I had some spare]. With the money I saved I bought a vintage race car. Only problem was the blast wearing away the rear panel - so I hung a spare bit of 1/4 ply in the target area. Derek |
