Hey, Bob, thanks for the link. Alas, if silicone Goop is the strongest they
know of for rubber to metal, I fear Jim's motor mounts are doomed.
However, there was an interesting comment about Canada allowing
percloroethylene in Goop. Does anyone know if that means the original
formula of Hylomar gasket dressing (not Hylomar HPF which is the only one
sold in the US now) is still available in Canada ? I liked the old formula
much better than the new ...
