I have a question and I don't know if I have the right answer or not; perhaps the list could answer. Lets say I want to move a 3000 lb load up a 10% grade. This load is suspended on 32" tires. How much torque (at the shaft that directly drives the tires) would I have to produce in Ft-lbs to move the load up the slope? I keep getting 1250 Ft/lbs, is that right? Thanks, Steve |
