It's time for me to get a real compressor. Based on previous comments
by people, here are my starting specifications:
- oil lube cast iron
- 120V (20A ok)
- vertical, portable
- approx 5 SCFM at 90psi
- desire "quiet" operation (understand even a quiet compressor is loud)
- desire under $400 price tag
I've found the 3 compressors below at Sears, Home Depot, and Lowes. All
have similar specifications, except for warranty (Husky is 3 years,
Kobalt 2, and Sears 1 year).

Can't find online
Does anyone have any experiences with any of these compressors or a
suggestion for a better one. I'd like something I can pick up locally
in the South Bay/Los Angeles area, internet is ok Right now I'm leaning
towards Home Depot.
Thanks,
Brian
