That's just what you should do, particularly if it's a highly-stressed area. Body parts (let's leave out modern cars with high-alloy, heat-treated panels) will probably warp if you overdo this step - most people don't normalize bodywork at all. My comments were mainly aimed at critical, stressed stuff like frames, etc. Karl |
