Mostly, they're crap. I was trying to avoid saying that the
first time :-)
But they've saved my butt a few times. I have probably spent as
much time tuning them up as I have using them.
Typically, what I'll do is set them up in the machine, but
turn them by hand. That works better than trying to run them at
any speed - treating them like a real machine reamer just
leads to a lot of chatter and cursing.
