Yes, but what about lint ? My dryer is vented into the garage, with a lint
trap in the dryer and another one on the end of the vent; and yet over a
period of years, everything in the vicinity of the vent has a fine coat of
lint.
One of my 'someday' projects is to re-route the dryer vent out through the
roof (since my utility room is not at an outside wall). Hopefully, the
occasional rains will keep the lint washed off the roof <g>
