Just flatten the end of a piece of copper tubing.
Then you already have a handle attached.
I would make a wood handle if you are filling many holes as it gets quite
hot very quickly.

Why you'd want to spend $22.49 for some copper scraps, I don't know.  I
don't know if brass would work.
