A borrowed 1300psi electric unit didn't do much on some
paint splatters on my driveway. Might work for cleaning
grease, but I sure didn't feel comfortable walking around
on the wet floor with an electrical cord dragging around.
Looking at a 2850psi gas powered unit from Lowes now. $519.

Subject: pressure washers
whats the consensus on pressure washers?
I need one for oily auto parts, engines , transmissions, wheels.
not so much for washing the car or house.
Is heat important? how much pressure is enough? how about solvents?
I'd rather not go gas powered unless I have to.
I see some $100 units at the depot, but they seem very cheesy to me.
thanks
