The July 2003 issue of "Auto Restorer" has an article about building a
blasting cabinet. They use a shop-vac to blow air into the cabinet, and an
old shop vac lower unit (without motor) as a dust collector. They seem to
think that this novel approach was more effective than the usual shop vac
sucking the dust out. Also makes the shop vac last longer. I haven't
tried this. I'm just relaying info from the article.
