A few weeks ago, I asked about racedeck tiles, well I got them and will
be installing them this weekend. As a result of this I am doing some
re-designing of my garage and will be installing a sink while I am at
it. Unfortunately, the only easy place to install the sink drain is where
my grinder is currently and my welding table.
I will be moving my grinder, welding stuff to an area of my garage where
the studs are exposed. The garage has wood siding and its all exposed. I
am worried about sparks causing getting in there and causing a
fire. Where it was before the sparks/etc. hit the stucco inner wall (the
garage was added on after the house was built so I have stucco inside one
wall of the garage, the other walls are exposed studs)
How do I prevent a fire in the other area ? is just covering it with
drywall good enough since then they would at least fall to the ground
? special paint ? I don't do a lot of welding/grinding but I don't like
to worry about it when i do.
