What are cysts (as relates to stuff that might be in your water) I've
never heard of them....

I have a Kenmore/Whirlpool and I consider the pressure to be "pretty
low" 
too.  I think it is normal, due to the filter in the system.  The
Kenmore 
came with a filter that is supposed to remove cysts.  That's nice, but
if I 
have cysts in my water I've got bigger problems than the fridge can 
solve.  Whirlpool makes two filters.  The one without this cyst removing

capability seems to flow a little faster, but it may be my 
imagination.  Also, the cyst removing one is $40!  The other one is 
$30.  These are the list prices.  I found them a lot cheaper at 
http://www.waterfiltermart.com/, especially if you buy six or more at a 
time.  Hope that answers your question, and a couple you didn't ask yet.
