Allen Hefner mooted:

don't!)

be?
Allen, Allen . . . how can you be concerned with the destiny of a few feet
of trimmer line when the far greater ponderable is: WHAT HAPPENS TO THE
FORTY-BILLION POUNDS OF TREAD RUBBER WORN OFF TIRES EACH YEAR??? I see no
reefs of powdered rubber along the roadside . . . even the rubber laid down
on race tracks is flushed away never to be seen by the first rainshower.
What if . . .what if the vaporized particles of rubber have been whirled
off into some nether region of space where, even now, they are congealing
into this trillion ton HOCKEY-PUCK the size of Russia which is poised ready
to WHOMP DOWN on North America and SKWOOSH US LIKE BUGS!
Trimmer line . . . sheesh!
;)
