Probably not, depending on how you do the dishes. If you keep the tap
running all the time to rinse the dishes, the dishwasher will use MUCH less
water. If you fill a 2 gallon tub, wash the dishes and rinse them with the
sprayer, you are probably close to using the same amount of water.
Check the store for newer, efficient dishwashers, designed for septic
systems. And of course, choose a detergent that won't harm the "elixir of
life" that lives on your effluents.
Now, what's that have to do with line trimmers?!?! :-)
