Doug-
(1) Go to www.metalshapers.org and sign up for the autobody restoration group.
(2) Those are common salvage yard items.
(3) Suggestion: replace the whole cab, it is FAR less work. In the LA area I
would expect you could score a solid cab fairly reasonable.

Three questions from this long prelude:
(1) any newsgroups out there specializing in autobody
(2) any sources of large body parts
(3) any ideas from the resident brain trust?
It (and I) spent a good deal of time in Michigan before
coming to Los Angeles, and it has some rust that I
would like to repair (runs great, but does not look
great).
The question I have is regarding the roof. It has
serious surface rust on about 80% of it, and has rusted
through in several spots. Now I have been up there and
started working on it with the intention of fixing, but
due to the size of that particular project, I was
curious if anyone here knew of where I could find a
replacement roof (steel or otherwise) which I think
would take a good week of work off from the project.
