An amusing aside: when I worked in Pleasanton, CA we were not allowed to have
tour compressor drain onto the ground, as the discharge was considered a
'hazardous waste'. Our (fully legal) solution? We had the accumulated water
drain into a bucket. And then it evaporated. That was allowed.
