This is the least reliable specification. A more accurate horsepower
rating could be calculated by taking the steady-state ampere rating from
the motor plate. Volts time amps gives you watts, and a conversion table
(mine's not handy) gives you horsepower. My recollection is that there
are 700-odd watts to the horsepower.
Most electric compressors produce around four cfm (cubic feet per
minute) per horsepower, usually measured at around 80 or 90 psi.
