I guess that means you can screw up in either direction, right?  When I 
poured footings
for the deck I built, I used the bags of "just add water" mix, and I added 
the exact amount
it said on the bag.  I also rented a small electric mixer.  It was very 
portable, mixed everything
thoroughly and is well worth it, unless you've got way more muscles than 
money.
