Sorry for joining this discussion late, but...
Would the 3/4" copper radiator still be effective if put between the tank
and the rest of the system?
My current plan (based on what I've seen here) is:
-use 3/4 copper to make a main line around the perimeter of the garage
-place the main line about 6" from the ceiling (out of the way) and 'tee'
each air drop up 3-4" before running the line down to working height.
-place a drain at the bottom of each 'drop'
What kind of filter/water trap should I use? Those filter/regulators sold
at Sears seem to be pretty useless as filters, but I've only used them at
the tank exit, so I've always thought they'd work better if the air was
cooler, hence I like the idea of making the copper radiator.
Anyone else have any ideas before I put torch to solder?
