I understand your problem. But have never delt with this person. For those
who are not understanding.
The big first thing is principle, he did not what was promised and paid for
regardless of the outcome. Sort of like buying a new car, you got to pick it
up and they give you one that is the same model, color, specs as the one you
thought you were buying but it now is a demo or something simalar. Same
product but one is just a lttle used.
I have also reread his post-
He bought the NOS key at a swap not from the guy who cut it.
The recut key is from an old used blank, which means it probally does not
have the nice crisp edges etc that a new key has. Instead it will have nice
rounded edges and will just look old and used. This is regardless that if
you have this nice new key with perfect edges it will probally not work in
the old cylinder due to wear on that unit over time.
Finally the big thing how many LBC owners out there have a NOS key cut to
the perfectly cut. This could make a difference at a show.
Back to lurking mode.

As someone who restores cars for a large well known resto shop, it is
amazing the details the owner can find to point out, esp after 2000hrs at
$65/hr.
