You could drill and tap a pressure area of your jack and install a 10,000
psi gauge. ($20 from Grainger.com) Do the math to get your piston area
diameter: a 2 inch piston should indicate 7600 psi at 24,000 press
pressure, a 3 inch piston should indicate 3400 psi for 12 tons.
