Of course! But how cool is it to have something... anything... rated
for over 1400 ft-lbs! Lord knows my Honda will never get there! (not
even with the torque multiplication of the trans!)

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the benefit of impact guns
was that they aren't as likely to twist the head off because of the
impacting... as opposed to putting a continuous torque on the bolt.
Still... at 1400ft-lbs rated... what normal sized bolt could handle
even short bursts?
