You could try mail ordering the parts. I used to buy my Jeep parts from a
dealer
in Alabama: Leon Rosser Jeep, 1724 1st Ave. N. Besemer, AL 35020. Phone:
888-348-2037. Web site:<http://www.thinkjeep.com/>. Parts were much cheaper
than at the local dealer. I'm sure there are other dealers that you can mail
order from.
No interest, yadda, yadda, yadda; heck, I don't even own a Jeep any more...
I also get my Honda parts mail order from a dealer in New England. Recently had
to buy new drive shafts for $130 each - local dealers wanted $210 - $220.
As for the overall problem; one suggestion, check the pins in ALL the
connectors. I
once had a problem with the ignition system on a Honda. Tested and measured
everything. Replaced the ignition module, etc. Car would still randomly die.
Turned
out to be that a pin in a main harness connector had "slipped" out of position
and
would make intermittent contact. Would work fine for weeks, and the fail two
or
three times a day... Only found the problem because I was desperate and
trying
everything... Probably isn't your problem, but you never know...

PS Just checked the web site, and they list a Throttle Position Sensor (GP1022)
for
1991-93 WJ w/4 or 6 cyl for $54.00 - don't know if it's the same part or not,
but you
get the idea...
